A vulnerability, which was classified as very critical, was found in Novell ZENworks Configuration Management up to 11.2 (Policy Management Software). Affected is an unknown function of the component Preboot Service. The manipulation as part of a 0x6c/0x4c Opcode leads to a memory corruption vulnerability. CWE is classifying the issue as CWE-119. Stack-based buffer overflow in the Preboot Service in Novell ZENworks Configuration Management (ZCM) 11.1 and 11.1a allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code via an opcode 0x4c request.
