The weakness was presented 10/21/2009 by Adam Zabrocki with Red Hat (Website). The advisory is available at vupen.com. This vulnerability was named CVE-2009-3606. The attack can be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is required for a successful exploitation. Technical details and also a public exploit are known.
