Multiple unspecified vulnerabilities in the browser engine in Mozilla Firefox 3.5.x before 3.5.6, SeaMonkey before 2.0.1, and Thunderbird allow remote attackers to cause a denial of service (memory corruption and application crash) or possibly execute arbitrary code via unknown vectors.
The weakness was presented 12/17/2009 by Jesse Ruderman (Website). The advisory is available at vupen.com. This vulnerability was named CVE-2009-3980 since 11/19/2009. The attack can be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is required for a successful exploitation. The technical details are unknown and an exploit is not available.
