The Samsung D6000 TV and possibly other products allow remote attackers to cause a denial of service (continuous restart) via a crafted controller name.
The weakness was presented 04/19/2012 by Luigi Auriemma as not defined mailinglist post (Website). The advisory is available at aluigi.org. The vendor was not involved in the coordination of the public release. This vulnerability is handled as CVE-2012-4329 since 08/14/2012. The attack may be launched remotely. No form of authentication is required for exploitation. Technical details are unknown but a public exploit is available.
