A vulnerability has been found in Roberto Aloi Com Joomlapicasa2 2.0.5 (Content Management System) and classified as critical. This vulnerability affects an unknown part of the file index.php. Directory traversal vulnerability in the Picasa (com_joomlapicasa2) component 2.0 and 2.0.5 for Joomla! allows remote attackers to read arbitrary local files via a .. (dot dot) in the controller parameter to index.php. NOTE: some of these details are obtained from third party information.

The weakness was released 04/04/2010 by Vrs-hCk (Website). The advisory is shared for download at xforce.iss.net. This vulnerability was named CVE-2010-1306. The exploitation appears to be easy. The attack can be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is required for a successful exploitation. Technical details and also a public exploit are known. The MITRE ATT&CK project declares the attack technique as T1006.
