A vulnerability was found in Alphaplug Com Alphauserpoints 1.5.5. It has been classified as critical. Affected is an unknown part of the file index.php. The manipulation of the argument view with an unknown input leads to a path traversal vulnerability. CWE is classifying the issue as CWE-22. Directory traversal vulnerability in the AlphaUserPoints (com_alphauserpoints) component 1.5.5 for Joomla! allows remote attackers to read arbitrary files and possibly have unspecified other impact via a .. (dot dot) in the view parameter to index.php.
The weakness was presented 04/11/2010 by AntiSecurity with isec (Website). The advisory is available at securityfocus.com. This vulnerability is traded as CVE-2010-1476.
