A vulnerability was found in TomatoCMS up to 2.0.4. It has been declared as critical. Affected by this vulnerability is an unknown part of the file index.php. SQL injection vulnerability in index.php in TomatoCMS before 2.0.5 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary SQL commands via the q parameter in conjunction with a /news/search PATH_INFO.
The weakness was disclosed 05/12/2010 with Secunia Research (Website). It is possible to read the advisory at securityfocus.com. This vulnerability is known as CVE-2010-1994 since 05/20/2010. The exploitation appears to be easy. The attack can be launched remotely. The exploitation doesn't need any form of authentication. Technical details and also a public exploit are known.
