Multiple cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerabilities in index.php in TomatoCMS before 2.0.5 allow remote authenticated users, with "Add new article" privileges, to inject arbitrary web script or HTML via the (1) title, (2) subTitle, and (3) author parameters in conjunction with a /admin/news/article/add PATH_INFO.
The weakness was presented 05/12/2010 with Secunia Research (Website). The advisory is shared for download at securityfocus.com. This vulnerability is handled as CVE-2010-1995 since 05/20/2010. The exploitation is known to be difficult. The attack may be launched remotely. A simple authentication is needed for exploitation. Successful exploitation requires user interaction by the victim.
