A vulnerability was found in Gecad AXIGEN Mail Server 7.4 (Mail Server Software). It has been rated as problematic. Affected by this issue is an unknown part. Directory traversal vulnerability in the HTTP interface in AXIGEN Mail Server 7.4.1 for Windows allows remote attackers to read arbitrary files via a %5C (encoded backslash) in the URL.

The weakness was shared 08/15/2010 by Bogdan Calin (Website). The advisory is shared for download at vupen.com. This vulnerability is handled as CVE-2010-3460. The exploitation is known to be easy. The attack may be launched remotely. No form of authentication is required for exploitation. Technical details are unknown but an exploit is available.
