Multiple cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerabilities in phpCAS before 1.1.3, when proxy mode is enabled, allow remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML via (1) a crafted Proxy Granting Ticket IOU (PGTiou) parameter to the callback function in client.php, (2) vectors involving functions that make getCallbackURL calls, or (3) vectors involving functions that make getURL calls.

The weakness was presented 10/07/2010 (Website). The advisory is shared for download at issues.jasig.org. This vulnerability is traded as CVE-2010-3690. It is possible to launch the attack remotely. The exploitation doesn't require any form of authentication. Successful exploitation requires user interaction by the victim. There are known technical details, but no exploit is available. The MITRE ATT&CK project declares the attack technique as T1059.007.
