A vulnerability was found in Apache Axis2 up to 1.6. It has been classified as very critical. This affects an unknown code block of the component Default Password. The manipulation with an unknown input leads to a credentials management vulnerability. CWE is classifying the issue as CWE-255. Apache Axis2, as used in dswsbobje.war in SAP BusinessObjects Enterprise XI 3.2, CA ARCserve D2D r15, and other products, has a default password of axis2 for the admin account, which makes it easier for remote attackers to execute arbitrary code by uploading a crafted web service.
The weakness was published 12/30/2010 by Joshua as confirmed advisory (CERT.org). It is possible to read the advisory at kb.cert.org. This vulnerability is uniquely identified as CVE-2010-0219 since 01/06/2010. The exploitability is told to be easy. It is possible to initiate the attack remotely.
