A vulnerability has been found in vtiger CRM up to 5.2.0 (Customer Relationship Management System) and classified as problematic. This vulnerability affects an unknown function of the file index.php. Multiple cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerabilities in vtiger CRM before 5.2.1 allow remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML via (1) the username (aka default_user_name) field or (2) the password field in a Users Login action to index.php, or (3) the label parameter in a Settings GetFieldInfo action to index.php, related to modules/Settings/GetFieldInfo.php.
The weakness was disclosed 11/26/2010 (Website). The advisory is shared for download at ush.it. This vulnerability was named CVE-2010-3911 since 10/12/2010. The attack can be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is required for a successful exploitation. Successful exploitation requires user interaction by the victim. There are known technical details, but no exploit is available.
