A vulnerability has been found in Gplhost Domain Technologie Control up to 0.28.8 and classified as problematic. This vulnerability affects the function register_user. The register_user function in client/new_account_form.php in Domain Technologie Control (DTC) before 0.32.9 includes a cleartext password in an e-mail message, which makes it easier for remote attackers to obtain sensitive information by sniffing the network.
The weakness was presented 03/07/2011 by Ansgar Burchardt (Website). The advisory is available at gplhost.sg. This vulnerability was named CVE-2011-0436 since 01/12/2011. The exploitation appears to be easy. The attack can be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is required for a successful exploitation.
