The windows functionality in WebKit in Apple Safari before 5.0.4 allows remote attackers to bypass the Same Origin Policy, and force the upload of arbitrary local files from a client computer, via a crafted web site.
The weakness was disclosed 03/11/2011 by Aaron Sigel with vtty.com (Website). The advisory is available at securitytracker.com. This vulnerability is handled as CVE-2011-0167. The attack may be launched remotely. No form of authentication is required for exploitation. Technical details are unknown but a public exploit is available. This vulnerability is assigned to T1068 by the MITRE ATT&CK project.
