Google Chrome before 13.0.782.107 allows remote attackers to bypass the Same Origin Policy via vectors related to handling of the base URI.
The weakness was released 08/02/2011 by Sergey Glazunov (miaubiz) with Chromium Development Community (Website). The advisory is shared at xforce.iss.net. The identification of this vulnerability is CVE-2011-2819. The exploitation is known to be easy. The attack may be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is needed for a successful exploitation. It demands that the victim is doing some kind of user interaction. Neither technical details nor an exploit are publicly available.
