A vulnerability, which was classified as very critical, was found in Measuresoft ScadaPro up to 2.6.0 (SCADA Software). This affects an unknown functionality of the file service.exe. service.exe in Measuresoft ScadaPro 4.0.0 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary commands via shell metacharacters in the (1) BF, (2) OF, or (3) EF command.

The weakness was released 09/16/2011 by Luigi Auriemma (Website). The advisory is shared at us-cert.gov. This vulnerability is uniquely identified as CVE-2011-3496.
