A vulnerability has been found in hp Managed Printing Administration up to 2.6.2 (Printing Software) and classified as critical. Directory traversal vulnerability in hpmpa/jobDelivery/Default.asp in HP Managed Printing Administration before 2.6.4 allows remote attackers to create arbitrary files via crafted form data.

The weakness was presented 12/26/2011 by Andrea Micalizzi (rgod) (Website). The advisory is available at zerodayinitiative.com. This vulnerability was named CVE-2011-4168 since 10/21/2011. The exploitation appears to be easy. The attack can be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is required for a successful exploitation. The technical details are unknown and an exploit is not available. This vulnerability is assigned to T1006 by the MITRE ATT&CK project.
