A vulnerability was found in pfSense 1.0.x/1.2.1/1.2.2/1.2.3/2.0 (Firewall Software) and classified as problematic. This issue affects some unknown functionality of the file status_rrd_graph.php. Cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in status_rrd_graph.php in pfSense before 2.0.1 allows remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML via the style parameter.
The weakness was presented 01/03/2012 by Florent Daigniere with Matta Consulting (Website). The advisory is shared at securityfocus.com. The identification of this vulnerability is CVE-2011-5047 since 01/03/2012. The attack may be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is needed for a successful exploitation. It demands that the victim is doing some kind of user interaction. Technical details are known, but no exploit is available. MITRE ATT&CK project uses the attack technique T1059.007 for this issue.
