A vulnerability was found in Microsoft Windows 2000 (Operating System). It has been classified as critical. Affected is an unknown code block of the component Domain Controller. Unknown vulnerability in the Local Security Authority Subsystem Service (LSASS) in Windows 2000 domain controllers allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service via a crafted LDAP message.
The bug was discovered 04/13/2004. The weakness was published 04/13/2004 by Carlos Sarraute with Core Security Technologies as MS04-011 as confirmed bulletin (Technet). The advisory is shared for download at microsoft.com. This vulnerability is traded as CVE-2003-0663 since 08/07/2003. It is possible to launch the attack remotely.
