PHP before 5.3.9 has improper libxslt security settings, which allows remote attackers to create arbitrary files via a crafted XSLT stylesheet that uses the libxslt output extension.
The weakness was published 02/01/2012 (Website). The advisory is shared for download at bugs.php.net. This vulnerability is traded as CVE-2012-0057 since 12/07/2011. The exploitability is told to be easy. It is possible to launch the attack remotely. The exploitation doesn't require any form of authentication.
