Integer overflow in XnViewer (aka XnView) before 1.98.5 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code via a crafted file containing PSD record types, a different vulnerability than CVE-2012-0685.
The weakness was presented 05/09/2012 by Justin Kim with Microsoft as MSVR/MSV as confirmed bulletin (Technet). The advisory is shared at technet.microsoft.com. The identification of this vulnerability is CVE-2012-0684 since 01/12/2012. The attack may be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is needed for a successful exploitation.
