The weakness was released 08/30/2012 by Fermin Serna (miaubiz) with Google Security Team as stable-channel-update_30 as not defined blog post (Website). The advisory is shared for download at googlechromereleases.blogspot.com. The public release was coordinated with the vendor. This vulnerability was named CVE-2012-2869 since 05/19/2012. The exploitation appears to be easy. The attack can be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is required for a successful exploitation.
