SQL injection vulnerability in the list module in TYPO3 4.2.x before 4.2.16, 4.3.x before 4.3.9, and 4.4.x before 4.4.5 allows remote authenticated users with certain permissions to execute arbitrary SQL commands via unspecified vectors.

The weakness was presented 12/16/2010 by Helmut Hummel (Website). The advisory is shared for download at openwall.com. This vulnerability is handled as CVE-2010-5103 since 04/30/2012. The attack may be launched remotely. The successful exploitation requires a simple authentication. There are neither technical details nor an exploit publicly available. The MITRE ATT&CK project declares the attack technique as T1505.

Upgrading to version 4.2.7 eliminates this vulnerability. A possible mitigation has been published immediately after the disclosure of the vulnerability.
