mod/forum/user.php in Moodle 1.9.x before 1.9.16 allows remote authenticated users to obtain the names and other details of arbitrary user accounts by searching for posts.
The weakness was presented 07/17/2012 by Alex as confirmed git commit (GIT Repository). The advisory is shared at git.moodle.org. The identification of this vulnerability is CVE-2012-0792 since 01/19/2012. The exploitation is known to be easy. The attack may be initiated remotely. The successful exploitation requires a simple authentication. Neither technical details nor an exploit are publicly available. MITRE ATT&CK project uses the attack technique T1592 for this issue.
