A vulnerability, which was classified as critical, was found in Mavili Guestbook (affected version unknown). This affects an unknown functionality of the file edit.asp. The manipulation of the argument id with an unknown input leads to a sql injection vulnerability. CWE is classifying the issue as CWE-89. The product constructs all or part of an SQL command using externally-influenced input from an upstream component, but it does not neutralize or incorrectly neutralizes special elements that could modify the intended SQL command when it is sent to a downstream component. SQL injection vulnerability in edit.asp in Mavili Guestbook, as released in November 2007, allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary SQL commands via the id parameter.
