proxies_controller.rb in Katello in Red Hat CloudForms before 1.1 does not properly check permissions, which allows remote authenticated users to read consumer certificates or change arbitrary users settings via unspecified vectors related to the "consumer UUID" of a system.

The weakness was released 01/04/2013 by Kurt Seifried as Bug 882129 as not defined bug report (Bugzilla). It is possible to read the advisory at bugzilla.redhat.com. This vulnerability is known as CVE-2012-5603 since 10/24/2012. The exploitation appears to be easy. The attack can be launched remotely. A single authentication is required for exploitation.
