The weakness was shared 09/19/2012 by Yang Dingning (miaubiz) with NCNIPC as APPLE-SA-2012-09-19-1 as confirmed posting (Website). The advisory is shared at prod.lists.apple.com. This vulnerability is known as CVE-2011-2821 since 07/20/2011. The exploitation appears to be difficult. The attack can be launched remotely. The exploitation doesn't need any form of authentication. Neither technical details nor an exploit are publicly available.
