modules/certs/manifests/config.pp in katello-configure before 1.3.3.pulpv2 in Katello uses weak permissions (666) for the Candlepin bootstrap RPM, which allows local users to modify the Candlepin CA certificate by writing to this file.

The weakness was disclosed 03/01/2013 with Red Hat (Website). The advisory is available at github.com. This vulnerability is handled as CVE-2012-6116 since 12/06/2012. The exploitation is known to be easy. Local access is required to approach this attack. No form of authentication is required for exploitation.
