The IcedTea-Web plugin before 1.2.3 and 1.3.x before 1.3.2 uses the same class loader for applets with the same codebase path but from different domains, which allows remote attackers to obtain sensitive information or possibly alter other applets via a crafted applet.
The weakness was published 04/29/2013 with Red Hat (Website). The advisory is shared at wiki.mageia.org. This vulnerability is known as CVE-2013-1926. The attack can be launched remotely. The exploitation doesn't need any form of authentication. Neither technical details nor an exploit are publicly available. MITRE ATT&CK project uses the attack technique T1592 for this issue.
