Buffer overflow in the Cisco WebEx Recording Format (WRF) player T27 before LD SP32 EP10 and T28 before T28.4 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code or cause a denial of service (memory corruption) via a crafted WRF file, aka Bug ID CSCua61331.
The weakness was shared 10/10/2012 by Core Security (Codenomicon) with Beyond Security/Core Security/Codenomicon/TELUS Security Labs Vulnerability Research Team as cisco-sa-20121010-webex as confirmed advisory (Website). The advisory is shared at tools.cisco.com. The vendor cooperated in the coordination of the public release. This vulnerability is uniquely identified as CVE-2012-3939 since 07/10/2012.
