mod/assign/externallib.php in Moodle 2.6.x before 2.6.2 does not properly handle assignment web-service parameters, which might allow remote authenticated users to modify grade metadata via unspecified vectors.
The weakness was presented 03/24/2014 (Website). It is possible to read the advisory at moodle.org. This vulnerability is known as CVE-2014-2572 since 03/20/2014. The exploitation appears to be easy. Upgrading to version 2.6.1 eliminates this vulnerability.
