A vulnerability was found in Microsoft Internet Explorer up to 11 (Web Browser) and classified as critical. Affected by this issue is some unknown processing. The product performs operations on a memory buffer, but it can read from or write to a memory location that is outside of the intended boundary of the buffer. The issue has been introduced in 03/22/2001. The weakness was published 07/08/2014 by Aniway.Anyway with Zero Day Initiative as MS14-037 as confirmed bulletin (Technet) via ZDI (Zero Day Initiative). The advisory is available at technet.microsoft.com. The public release has been coordinated with the vendor. This vulnerability is handled as CVE-2014-2809 since 04/10/2014. The attack may be launched remotely. No form of authentication is required for exploitation. Successful exploitation requires user interaction by the victim.
