Multiple memory corruption issues existed in WebKit.
The vulnerability scanner Nessus provides a plugin with the ID 80455 (FreeBSD : WebKit-gtk -- Multiple vulnerabilities (e9ccdb28-9802-11e4-9d9c-bcaec565249c)), which helps to determine the existence of the flaw in a target environment. It is assigned to the family FreeBSD Local Security Checks. Upgrading to version 6.1.6 or 7.0.6 eliminates this vulnerability. A possible mitigation has been published immediately after the disclosure of the vulnerability. The advisory contains the following remark:
