A vulnerability was found in phpMyAdmin up to 4.0.10.6/4.1.14.7/4.2.13 (Database Administration Software). It has been classified as problematic. The weakness was presented 12/03/2014 by Javier Nieto and Andres Rojas as PMASA-2014-17 as confirmed advisory (Website). It is possible to read the advisory at phpmyadmin.net. This vulnerability is uniquely identified as CVE-2014-9218 since 12/02/2014. The exploitability is told to be easy. It is possible to initiate the attack remotely.
