A vulnerability was found in PHP 5.3.4 on Windows (Programming Language Software). It has been classified as critical. Affected is the function com_event_sink of the component Win Com Module. The manipulation of the argument Sink Object/Interface with the input value VARIANT(0x41414141) leads to a memory corruption vulnerability. CWE is classifying the issue as CWE-119. The product performs operations on a memory buffer, but it can read from or write to a memory location that is outside of the intended boundary of the buffer.
