ModelMultipleChoiceField in Django 1.6.x before 1.6.10 and 1.7.x before 1.7.3, when show_hidden_initial is set to True, allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service by submitting duplicate values, which triggers a large number of SQL queries.

The weakness was disclosed 01/13/2015 by Keryn Knight (Website). The advisory is shared for download at djangoproject.com. This vulnerability is handled as CVE-2015-0222 since 11/18/2014. The exploitation is known to be easy. The attack may be launched remotely. No form of authentication is required for exploitation. There are known technical details, but no exploit is available.
