A vulnerability was found in Todd Miller sudo 1.6.9/1.7.0/1.8 (Operating System Utility Software). It has been rated as problematic. The weakness was released 02/22/2015 by Jakub Wilk as Bug 1191144 as confirmed bug report (Bugzilla). The advisory is shared for download at bugzilla.redhat.com. This vulnerability is handled as CVE-2014-9680 since 02/12/2015. The attack needs to be approached locally. No form of authentication is required for exploitation.
