Cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in the Horizon Orchestration dashboard in OpenStack Dashboard (aka Horizon) 2013.2 before 2013.2.4 and icehouse before icehouse-rc2 allows remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML via the description field of a Heat template.
The weakness was shared 04/15/2014 with Intel (oss-sec). The advisory is available at openwall.com. This vulnerability was named CVE-2014-0157 since 12/03/2013. The attack can be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is required for a successful exploitation. Successful exploitation requires user interaction by the victim. The technical details are unknown and an exploit is not available. This vulnerability is assigned to T1059.007 by the MITRE ATT&CK project.
