A vulnerability, which was classified as problematic, was found in Siege phpMyID 0.9. Affected is the function wrap_html of the file MyID.php. The manipulation of the argument openidmode with an unknown input leads to a cross site scripting vulnerability. CWE is classifying the issue as CWE-79. Cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in the wrap_html function in MyID.php in phpMyID 0.9 allows remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML via the openid_error parameter to MyID.config.php when the openid.mode parameter is set to error, which is not properly handled in an error message.
The weakness was presented 04/22/2014 by Adam Caudill (Website). The advisory is available at seclists.org. This vulnerability is traded as CVE-2014-2890 since 04/17/2014.
