A vulnerability has been found in IBM WebSphere Application Server up to 7.0.0.26 (Application Server Software) and classified as problematic. Cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in the Administration Console in IBM WebSphere Application Server (WAS) 7.x before 7.0.0.33, 8.x before 8.0.0.9, and 8.5.x before 8.5.5.2, and WebSphere Virtual Enterprise 7.x before 7.0.0.5, allows remote authenticated users to inject arbitrary web script or HTML via a crafted URL.
The weakness was released 05/01/2014 (Website). The advisory is shared for download at www-01.ibm.com. This vulnerability was named CVE-2013-6323 since 10/31/2013. The attack can be initiated remotely. A single authentication is needed for exploitation. Successful exploitation requires user interaction by the victim. There are neither technical details nor an exploit publicly available. The MITRE ATT&CK project declares the attack technique as T1059.007.

Upgrading to version 7.0.0.27 eliminates this vulnerability.
