The User.get method in Bugzilla/WebService/User.pm in Bugzilla 4.3.2 allows remote attackers to obtain sensitive information about the saved searches of arbitrary users via an XMLRPC request or a JSONRPC request, a different vulnerability than CVE-2012-4198.
The weakness was disclosed 10/25/2011 by James Long and Frederic Buclin as 697224 as not defined changelog entry (Website). The advisory is available at bugzilla.mozilla.org. The public release has been coordinated in cooperation with the vendor. This vulnerability is handled as CVE-2012-5884 since 11/16/2012. The exploitation is known to be difficult. The attack may be launched remotely. No form of authentication is required for exploitation. Technical details as well as a public exploit are known. This vulnerability is assigned to T1592 by the MITRE ATT&CK project.
