A vulnerability, which was classified as critical, has been found in Marc Lehmann rxvt-unicode up to 9.19. Affected by this issue is some unknown functionality of the component X Window. The manipulation with an unknown input leads to a os command injection vulnerability. Using CWE to declare the problem leads to CWE-78. rxvt-unicode before 9.20 does not properly handle OSC escape sequences, which allows user-assisted remote attackers to manipulate arbitrary X window properties and execute arbitrary commands.
