A vulnerability, which was classified as problematic, has been found in tera-charts 0.1. Affected by this issue is an unknown part of the component Chart. The manipulation of the argument fn with an unknown input leads to a path traversal vulnerability. Using CWE to declare the problem leads to CWE-22. The product uses external input to construct a pathname that is intended to identify a file or directory that is located underneath a restricted parent directory, but the product does not properly neutralize special elements within the pathname that can cause the pathname to resolve to a location that is outside of the restricted directory. Multiple directory traversal vulnerabilities in Tera Charts (tera-charts) plugin 0.1 for WordPress allow remote attackers to read arbitrary files via a .. (dot dot) in the fn parameter to (1) charts/treemap.php or (2) charts/zoomabletreemap.php.
