Google Chrome before 23.0.1271.91 allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (application crash) via a response with chunked transfer coding.
The weakness was disclosed 11/26/2012 by Atte Kettunen (Inferno) with Google Chrome Security Team as 155711 (Website). The advisory is shared at code.google.com. The public release has been coordinated in cooperation with Google. The identification of this vulnerability is CVE-2012-5132 since 09/24/2012. The attack may be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is needed for a successful exploitation. Technical details are unknown but a public exploit is available.
