The weakness was shared 08/18/2014 by Nir Goldshlager (Alex) (Website). The advisory is available at wordpress.org. This vulnerability was named CVE-2014-5240 since 08/14/2014. The exploitation appears to be difficult. The attack can be initiated remotely. A single authentication is necessary for exploitation. Successful exploitation requires user interaction by the victim. The technical details are unknown and an exploit is not available. This vulnerability is assigned to T1059.007 by the MITRE ATT&CK project.
