The product processes an XML document that can contain XML entities with URIs that resolve to documents outside of the intended sphere of control, causing the product to embed incorrect documents into its output. Restlet Framework 2.1.x before 2.1.7 and 2.x.x before 2.2 RC1, when using XMLRepresentation or XML serializers, allows attackers to cause a denial of service via an XML Entity Expansion (XEE) attack.
