The Capture::Tiny module before 0.24 for Perl allows local users to write to arbitrary files via a symlink attack on a temporary file.

The weakness was shared 10/06/2014 by Jakub Wilk (Website). The advisory is shared at github.com. The identification of this vulnerability is CVE-2014-1875 since 02/06/2014. The exploitation is known to be easy. An attack has to be approached locally. No form of authentication is needed for a successful exploitation.
