Eval injection vulnerability in the ldapagnt_eval function in ldapagnt.dll in unifid.exe in NetIQ Privileged User Manager 2.3.x before 2.3.1 HF2 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary Perl code via a crafted application/x-amf request.
The weakness was shared 11/15/2012 by Andrea Micalizzi (rgod) as confirmed exploit (Website). It is possible to read the advisory at retrogod.altervista.org. The vendor cooperated in the coordination of the public release. This vulnerability is known as CVE-2012-5932 since 11/20/2012. The attack can be launched remotely. The exploitation doesn't need any form of authentication. Technical details and also a public exploit are known. The attack technique deployed by this issue is T1059 according to MITRE ATT&CK.
A public exploit has been developed by Andrea Micalizzi (rgod) in PHP and been published immediately after the advisory. It is possible to download the exploit at retrogod.altervista.org.
