The AutoWrapperChanger class in Mozilla Firefox before 18.0, Firefox ESR 17.x before 17.0.2, Thunderbird before 17.0.2, Thunderbird ESR 17.x before 17.0.2, and SeaMonkey before 2.15 does not properly interact with garbage collection, which allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code via a crafted HTML document referencing JavaScript objects.

The weakness was released 01/08/2013 by Olli Pettay (regenrecht) with Mozilla Corporation as MFSA 2013-08 as confirmed advisory (Website). The advisory is shared for download at mozilla.org. The public release was coordinated with the vendor. This vulnerability is traded as CVE-2013-0745 since 01/02/2013. The exploitability is told to be difficult. It is possible to launch the attack remotely. The exploitation doesn't require any form of authentication. Technical details are unknown but a private exploit is available.

It is declared as proof-of-concept.
