The check_dhcp plugin in Nagios Plugins before 2.0.2 allows local users to obtain sensitive information from INI configuration files via the extra-opts flag, a different vulnerability than CVE-2014-4702.

The weakness was disclosed 12/05/2014 by Dawid Golunski (Website). It is possible to read the advisory at nagios-plugins.org. This vulnerability is uniquely identified as CVE-2014-4701 since 06/30/2014. The exploitability is told to be easy. Attacking locally is a requirement. The commercial vulnerability scanner Qualys is able to test this issue with plugin 123905 (Fedora Security Update for nagios-plugins (FEDORA-2015-12853)).

Upgrading to version 2.0.1 eliminates this vulnerability.
